New Quilt - 12 panels
Hi.. it's been awhile since I've posted. I've completed 3 quilts, 2 of which are still at the quilter. This photo is of a 12 panel quilt. A nice size for a throw. This particular quilt was made as a donation for the Lee's Summit High School Theatre Parents silent auction. My friend, Cheryl Gross, donated the machine quilting and binding. Thank you Cheryl! (As you see
from the photo, my dogs love the quilt also!

T-Shirt Quilt - Girls
Here's another example of a quilt. This quilt captures highschool activities. The quilt will forever tell the story of what was important during this time of her life. The quilt also features a photo t-shirt which is another great way to personalize the quilt. This quilt tells a story about a dancer, the high-school attended, and other extra curricular activities such as National Honor Sorciety, School Magazine Staff. The student got creative with her fabric and selected a combination of pink, black and gold. The backside of the quilt is flannel which makes it very soft, warm and comfortable. The quilt is machine quilted, and hand-binded, with special attention paid to careful stitching around each t-shirt. This quilt will last for years! The color combinations pull the color of the t-shirts together very nicely.

Tshirt Memories
T-Shirt Memories...
It's graduation time again and this year I'm making my youngest daughter(who is 18) a t-shirt quilt for graduation. I also made one for her bf. T-shirt quilts are time-consuming to make. They are a great gift and nice way to capture favorite moments of youth. The picture on the right is a picture of the one I made my son last year. I also made one for one of his friends... the two I made, plus the Chief's one, which was made by another Mom, is displayed above. If you look closely you'll see that I there are a couple with photos on the shirts... very cool way to capture a sr. picture or pics of friends in the quilt.
